I recently finished a quilt for a baby shower that was inspired by the fact that the parents did not want to know the sex of the baby prior to birth. I looked through my many patterns and books and really could not decide on one that would be appropriate for either sex. Most of the patterns that I have tend to lend themselves to boy or girl and just changing the colors didn't really please me.
I saw a crayon quilt somewhere in my web surfing but could not find a pattern so I was forced to create my own. This is the result.
It was made with jelly roll strips and ribbon. It was fun and I will probably make another one real soon.
This is adorable and a great baby gift! It's so nice it could be hung on a wall. :)
